Hey. So I don't have any tattoos but wanted one for ages. Problem is I don't want a small silly thing. If I'm getting one I'm going all out and getting a sleeve.

But I've always had this thing where I think people think more muscly guys suit tattoos and cos I'm skinny a sleeve may not look great on me or suit me? Is that stupid lol?

Help haha

Tattoos look good on anyone as long as you have a good artist.

If you’re bothered about what other people think then you shouldn’t be getting a tattoo

It doesn't matter your physique. Just be aware you have a slimmer space for design. I like tats on anyone

Don’t worry about that mate...if you find a good artist it will look ace.its also about compersition and how the images flow on your arm.

Have a look on Instagram and Pinterest so many good artists out there. But they ain’t cheap and they are also very addictive....

Good luck mate

Make sure the artist is talented and tattoos look good on anyone x If you think about it, tattoo studios are not full of muscly tattoo artists but people of all builds, and all tattooed! Select the design carefully, you’re going to have it for life haha, and the artist can scale it up or down to suit, and give advice if it needs to be altered to suit.

Most of all enjoy it x Viv x

Thanks everyone. It's not so much worrying what other people will think of it. More self doubt if I think it will look good on me if that makes sense.

Media coverage of tattoos has sometimes distorted our view of what tattoos should be and should stand for . My own many tattoos spam my adult life from a time when tattoo studios were mainly frequented by punks / skinheads and bikers through to my most recent 12 mths or so ago .

They are your tattoos , no one elses ..be proud

If that’s the sort off stuff you like have a look for an artist that does a lot of realism that sort of style...most will have a good portfolio for you to look at too..hope this helps

I do not have big arms. I said I'd never have a sleeve for that reason and then I accidentally had a sleeve a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it
