I need a haircut and a decent dye job.

Last time I cut my own hair it was a complete disaster. Luckily hair grows.

I'm contemplating shaving it all off, but even then, it'd probably look like a sheep after a particular bad shearing.... hide the mirrors...

Leicester / London

I've read a few people's horror stories so here are some home remedies.

For general maintenance canned coconut milk

Stick a can in the fridge and wait till it sets. Then rub it in warms hands apply to you hair.

leave it until you feel set in your hair and rinse out

If you have colour problems

Melt the coconut cream in a saucepan on a low heat and add...

lemon juice to lighten your hair

Carrot juice if being a red head is your thing.

Tea bags are supposed to be good for gying grey hair ( I can't confirm I'm to young haha)

Diulted coffee it jet black is your thing

And the juice from boiled chestnut shells if you are looking to go brown.

I'm sure there are loads of other natural products that work too

I learnt this from travels seeing the poorest people in the world.

Everyone one of them had hair in better condition than anyone in the developed world.

It makes sense, would rather stick chemicals in your hair or use a natural product?

For those looking to cut your hair try a razor comb. Its much more forgiving when you need to take some weight out you hair but not radically change the style of it
