Pierced Nipples - Pros and Cons?

Jump to newest

I'm thinking about getting my nipples pierced - I adore having them suckled, nibbled and played with, but wanted to see ask anyone who's had them done for any major pros or cons?

I guess any disadvantages or things to be aware of mainly...

Thanks x

Pros- looked good

Cons- got caught on things, took a while to heal.

Overall it wasn't worth it in my opinion, I only kept mine for a few years.

I love to play with a piercing. The feel of metal on my teeth is yum yum

Think it's different for men think the bra irritates it as its healing mine took forever to heal

Mine took about a year to completely heal.

I was lucky, last meet pre-covid-19 was with a lady having them. I really enjoyed it.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I pierced mine myself.

Pro: It’s an interesting conversation piece.

Con: Subsequently extra sensitive as it now is, if you accidentally knock it, it hurts like being kicked in the nads.

Had mine done. Refused to heal so took it out. Witnessed a guy on holiday tear both his out when he got off a sun lounger with slats on it! Was not a pretty sight!

Dublin

Had same nipple pierced 2 times: before and after kids.

1st one was in too deep..so I was told by 2nd piercer. This is why I felt like it was always a bit uncomfortable.

2nd time is more shallow and way better.

Yes it can get caught on things like fishnet dress/body stocking and shower loofah thing but with a shorter bar, these are not so much of a worry.

MrD got his done last year after I dared him. But he had to take it out last week as it looked like he was getting a keloid on it. I got 1 of these on my belly button piercing years ago. Bit of a nightmare.

Further than you think

Another question. I've recently seen some vertical piercings. So which ones are sexier? Vertical or horizontal?

m

Have verticals fitted.

Then if you want horizontals, just tilt to your head to one side. Hey presto!

I used removable nipple jewellery to feel sexy when I want it, that way it avoids all the cons mentioned above. You can see an example in my most recent pic. I like them!

Had one done years ago but took it out when deployed to Iraq, still squeezing gunk out now...why is that?

Just tried to message but couldn't do I hope you see this lol... I've got a couple of pairs of cheap removable ones now, but how on earth do you get them to stay on?

Sutton

Con: As well as the points raised above you have an odd shaped nipple which is more noticeable when the piercing is removed permanently.

Pro: When I was in shape, the gold bar with red or white crystal looked good.

Had my left one pierced the first time 16 years ago, but with constantly knocking it when caring for patients so it wasn’t healing, so I removed it. Had it re-pierced last year and killed! Sometimes it oozes and is painful, but at the mo it’s ok.

Going to get my right done when get the courage up, as it hurts like a mother-fucker! Haha x

Love how it looks though x

Here, there and everywhere!

I've been tempted to get mine done, I think hoops through them look great but just worried about sensitivity afterwards
