Give it a go taking them last thing at night.

It helped me.

Horrible when you can’t switch your mind off.

Another thing. May not be for you but give meditation a go.

I agree, taking meds at night is a better, the packaging even says they may cause drowsiness, use it. There are some good free apps for meditation and sleep stories, my fav is 'insight timer', it's helped me a lot. But only works if I actually go to bed...

Yes. The one thing that actually works for me is Quetiapine. Doc tried all sorts of things first but that one hit the spot without me being a zombie for the rest of the time and no super weird (not restful in the slightest) dreams.

Aspartame breaks down into neuro toxins, so avoid when possible

Definitely worth checking in with your GP. Mirtazapine has been very helpful for me, particularly with sleep.

I suffer from constantly being tired too. Take my meds in the evening, I found that did help me sleep a bit better. Have pretty much cut out caffeine, as I drink way too much tea. That seems to have helped a bit as well. That said, I’m going through a phase of crap sleep just now. Hoping it’ll pass as it normally does
