Away with the faeries

Ooh they've become my best friend lately on my daily walk.

Evil Genius - Russell Kane and a panel of three others (different every week) talk about famous/influential, dead, people of our time and decide whether they were more genius or evil. It's been eye-opening and very funny!

Stuff You Should Know.. does what it says on the tin

Shag, Married, Annoyed - Rosie and Chris Ramsey..just super funny. Cutest Geordies around

I take life way too seriously and fell down a virology rabbithole. LSHTM Viral is good but infrequent. Listening to This Week in Virology and the spin off podcasts is massively full on and almost a full time job, there's so many of them. But it's calm, evidence based, and actually at times rather funny, weird as that sounds.

Sydney Ideas (from that disreputable pervy university) is releasing quite a few podcasts about issues around Covid-19, the most recent on mental health.

I've not listened for ages, but ABC Radio National (Australian ABC) has a goldmine of podcasts if you don't mind it being Australian leaning or focused. Conversations is incredible, there are some really inspiring and interesting interviews.

I mostly like his ones with other comedians, but the ones with distinguished people from all sorts of fields are very interesting.

Joey Diaz is absolutely hilarious also

GEEK ALERT - I love The Adventure Zone - three brothers and their dad playing D&D. You have to start from the beginning as it's an ongoing campaign (the first campaign has 69 episodes). Once it gets into its stride it's great, and had me crying tears of laughter, and actual crying tears too.
