The milk must go last.

There is nothing to discuss.

I have always done milk last, but I don't drink much anyway. Just use tea for dunking biscuits.

Milk always last in tea. Milk in first clogs up the bag pores, making brewing of the tea difficult, changing the flavour for the worst

Is this even a discussion? Milk last, close thread surely?

Adding milk first cools the hot water thus not allowing the full infusion of the tea , which requires the water to be as hot as possible

Everyone has their own personal way so I’m not preaching

Milk first and this subject really grinds my gears. Milk last then clearly the milk is scalded and tastes bitter. Yet doesn’t matter where you go, if restaurants pour then they insist 99% of the time milk last. It’s appalling, there should be a law against it. If this was France then restaurants would not be allowed to behave like this.

Milk in first for coffee so it doesn't burn.

Milk in last for tea so the boliing water releases all the flavour

Water with bag first, then milk after the bag is out. Milk with the bag seems odd.

Made in a pot, milk first.

Anyone that puts milk first when making tea in a cup with a teabag is a complete philistine.
