Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why?

Ok I will start, would have to be a box of photos/bits and bobs of my late mum x

Leytonstone

Nothing, I already saved everything that really matters, it doesn't make sense to risk my life for anything else.

Okay, maybe the keys to my M3, it would be nice to have wheels to cart my homeless family around!

Shrewsbury

A hard drive with family photos on. Photos.

Material stuff is replaceable, photos of my family are not!

They are all I have left apart from memories.

The watch I got for my 30th from my dad who had just passed away. Engraved on the back. Means so much to me.

Been there too, although, if I could have been able to rescue anything it would have been my babies outfit. It was all I had as I’d miscarried, but my daughter was rescued and resuscitated, and that was all that mattered in the greater scheme of things.

I have the memories of the people who left me the things I lost, and photos of my pets thanks to social media, so I have everything I need.

It’s hard to lose everything and only have the clothes you are stood in, but we’re a resilient species, and we carry on, as you will know x Viv x

"My bag with my phone , purse and keys in it."

I threw mine to to ground and some bastard stole my purse when we were on the way to the hospital After that experience I definitely appreciate that your purse is essential, as having to transfer money from your account to another so they can draw it out for you, can be a mare, as your cards are usually in the purse.

Still had my house keys- but they weren’t useful as the house had burned down- but having your car keys is important. My ex left his in the house, all a ball ache! xx
