So I've been giving it some thought what fab means to me.

So for me it's been a place to chat and make friends first and formost.

I joined fab because I missed swinging and wanted to play again even as just me. But I found the forums and all you crazy people have made me life better. I work alone and am a single dad of 5 so just chats and banter with you lot make my day more bearable.

So for me now fab is

1 chatting to you crazy lot

2 making friends

3 flirting

4 a way to.pass the time.

5 the actual sex.

In that order.

So what.does fab mean to everyone else I would love to hear what the rest of you think

It’s an outlet for me op.

I have many many issues and my head is like a fucking total mess.

I find the forum really helps.

Totally understand that my sense of humour is not everyone’s idea of humour but it serves a purpose for me personally.

I can be serious when a question or post captures something I wanna show an opinion on and I always try and be emphatic to any post I feel is requiring a good word or someone to talk too.

Basically I use it to balance my own little strange world.

At the beginning it was a place for me to have actual sex, I didn't really want any friendships or use the fora. Nowadays, I use it for a laugh, to pass some time so I'm not as anxious. Along the way I met some people who are very dear to me so Fab means a lot in a weird way.

Fab was a distraction in the beginning.

But I have met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences over the years.

It has brought me sexual confidence and broadened my horizons.

Made friends who have kept me sane and been there.

Also met a lovely guy who's ideas and personality match mine and looking forward to exploring with him when lockdown ends, so many plans and not looking for anyone new now so chatting on the forums it is

It's a place where I can learn, teach and hopefully grow as a person and more importantly a human.

It's a place I'm weary of due to past burns, but one that keeps me on my toes and high alert, if at times a little too much.

It drives me mad but keeps me sane.

The main thing is the friendships, and I really couldn't give a flying fuck when people say online friends aren't real friends. Really mofo? Kiss my arse and live my life and you'll see the kind of souls that true friends are, in fact some have gone past the friendship stage and feel more like family than my own family do.

I hope I bring something too, whether that be giggles or getting you to think.

I think fab is the first place I’ve felt confident enough to talk about sex freely which has been really important for me. It’s encouraged me to embrace my own and other people’s sexual interests and/or kinks.

There are also really great people on here too which helps, particularly in the forums. But I often feel too young, unwise or way too snowflake for it. - not enough to get rid of me though, unfortunately for some.

Great thread Widowdad. Fab is all about the forum for me.

when I joined fab It was my place to hide away from everyone in the real world.

It’s that saying where “you’re in a room full of people, yet still lonely” and I was at one of my lowest moments.

The forums for me are a huge pick me up even when days are a bit gloomy, I always know that they’ll be something to have a giggle at when reading or having a laugh when I’m part of a thread.

So many on here have made this experience of the forum so great.

Sometimes the smallest kindness on here goes a long way, you might not even realise how much it might have meant to that person. A lot of you have put that smile on my face.

So for the foreseeable future I’m very much just here for the forum laugh and a odd bit of teasing

I came to the world of fab on the advice of a friend 5 or so years ago. To start with it was fun beginning to explore a different side of me. Then "real" life got in the way for a long spell so I only kept in touch with my friends on here and had my profile set to private.

Came back properly just after New Year and have tried to throw myself into the forums again and make new friends. It can be tough at times and I think the fact that we are experiencing a different world at this time means that all of us are up one minute and down the next.

So I think it would be unfair to say how I feel at the moment as today it is one thing. Tomorrow it will be something else.

I would like to add that this time around I have DM'd with some lovely women and you have all made these tough days better.

For me I've met some lovely people and made great lifelong friends. I left for a bit last year but my friends welcomed me back with open arms. I'm still meeting great people and making lovely connections. It's fun too especially on the forums. It's not all about sex and to be honest I haven't struggled not getting it these past few weeks.

We have been meeting and going to club, but decided to step down lately as we lost some much time in small talks, without getting much deepness. I use fab a lot for the forums and to meet and make friends. I've been lucky enough to make some great friends from here who are true friends in real life now as well. And to have some amazing meets and luckily both have over lapped.

Sometimes it can be hard work and tough but I find the people you know and are friends with will always be there to help you deal with the bull.

Fab has helped build my confidence over the last few years. It has allowed me to express myself as a man but also brought me in contact with some really good friends.

The sort of friends who accept me as I am and are there when I need them and aren't just fair weather friends. They also allow me to be there for them if and when needed so it's always a two way street.

I can be me in fab without having to pretend to be someone or something else and that will always reflect in my forum posts or private messages.

I came here to exercise the sexual freedom of an open marriage but found a fair bit more than that. There are people here I know I can have a laugh with interactively in Chat, I can discuss things with in the Forum where I can also post irreverent nonsense when the mood takes me.

There’s also the chance to flirt, be an exhibitionist, have a damn good perv and learn more about this lifestyle.

On the other side of lockdown it would be great to think I may get to meet and potentially be intimate some of the people here I fancy, but I’m fortunate this place turned out to be more than just a way to achieve that.

It started as a place to meet women who weren't looking to date but still wanted "fun", I wasnt getting out much because I was working 2 jobs and Mr Winky had been on bread and water for too long. Then I found the forum and realised there was a chance to make friends and, get a little advice about the site and share opinions and shoot the shit. I also found group socials through the forums and have been on 2...which also happens to be the number of meets I've had. There is also the aspect of putting yourself out there in naked format and that in itself is liberating.

Since spending more time on the forum, all be it the opposite lately, I sent less and less messages to local woman and instead came on to chat.

Its just a bit of a habit now. Something to distract, interaction, a way to talk to lots of people if desired without having to get dressed or look decent

Fab is mainly the forum and friends to me. I love the forum as it is a microcosm of this world and has so many diverse people that contribute.
