Does anyone else do this? I thought my vocabulary was pretty good but I can't get beyond level 47.

You leave a thread alone for a little while and all sorts happen!

For those who don't know it's a way of donating rice to hungry people by playing edifying games. It used to be just vocabulary but they now have science and maths and all sorts. Too scared to try the maths questions in case it transpires my level is really low

As to the rice pudding - yuck - and Panneka - I'm off to see if I can find an up to date picture of her in an all in one lycra jumpsuit.

Get onto the free rice.

Sorry, went away again. Starting a thread requires dedication...

When you have got 1000 grains of rice then a bowl is donated. It's no substitute for sending money but as a way of raising awareness, sending some rice (donated by sponsors linked to the site) and improving vocabulary (even if they will use American spellings) it's not bad.

Actually, just sent a pm but suddenly thought it might not be on iPhone as Apple don't allow donation apps. Others do but they have decided not to.

Sadly, they are not my children. I went back in a couple of times to see if there is a way. You can select a new level. It will remember your best level but start you a couple of levels down. At least, that's what it did for me.

I hope you are having fun with it.

I was well down the road to cryptic crossword clues... Monsanto and genetically modified sprung to mind, is there such a thing as free rice these days?
