I always feel like a hypocondriac (or how ever you spell it) when i go to my doctors, therefore i rarely go, but I have been feeling really wierd since last wednesday(18th feb).

It started when i rolled over in bed and felt like i kept rolling, since then I have felt like my head was being shaken violently. I feel very shakey and dizzey and last night i felt like the room was spinning so much that i actually threw up.....Any Idea's anyone.

Oh and yesterday I had a headache that would not go away just over my left eye.

It may be an ear infection...has your balance been effected?

Go to a decent opticians first thing in the morning. I can recommend Specsavers they do a very detailed test.

Just explain to them whats happened they will sort you out BUT WITHOUT FAIL DO NOT DO NOTHING.

I am thinking extreme migraine or ear infection,both can make you feel like that,you have to go the docs and get it sorted xx

sounds like vertigo

get to the doc's and mention vertigo, like others have stated, it's caused by an ear infection.

My first thought was ear infection, but I have no other syptoms of an ear infection, no pain or anything in my ear.

I had my eyes done in november and a very nice young man said that "for my age" my eyes where in great shape.

Doctors are of all weekend, I will get in there on monday, so long as the receptionists will let me in

You weren't on a ship were you? .. Or a water bed? Sounds very symptomatic to me... had you been shagging any overly large men? The ripple effect can do terrible damage to one's sense of balance...

Or were you pissed... sounds like it could be a Vodka Attack... ok when ur standing up but when u lay down the room spins and in the morning you have one kicker of a headache....a handful of pebbles in your left pocket acts as a great counterbalance...

...and yes, you can tell I've got lots of free time tonight lol

Feeling nausea, dizzy , headache are all symptoms of an inner ear problem, you may not get an infection as in painful ear.

Glad to see you are going to the docs though and not just listening to all us budding doctors

Blood pressure is also a likely thing,.. high or low.

Needs checking out whatever it is, the same might happen when driving [ or simular]

I looked on the NHS website and as I have had it since last week and not keeled over I guess it will wait till Monday when the docters opens again, Thamks for all the feedback, I'm off for an early night now.

Hi,

I am now convinced its an ear infection, my left ear is a bit bunged up, which is not good but at least I know whats going on, not so dizzy now. Think I will still see the Dr on monday just to be on the safe side.

pop to the chemist and get sudafed, it wont clear the infection but it'll cure the effects till you get to the doctors.

its the not knowing, what was a real stres for you ...really glad you have a clear symptom at last ...and i know what its like when you feel under the weather ...and i am a softy really ...but dont tell anyone ....its only a temporary truce ..!!!!!
