So I've just cleaned out the fish tank. The dirty water is a fantastic source of nitrates (food) for your house and garden plants.

Anyone else got any tips to share...

The last few weeks have taught me, if you stay nude in bed all of the time, the only washing you accumulate is bedding! Less washing = more time in bed

If your shower drains badly use fairy liquid to clean it, the drmegreaser plus hot water dissolves soap scum.

Same with stained clothes. Put loads of fairy around the stain and then put them in the washer

White wine vinegar gets biro out of fabric.

Bicarbonate of soda lifts grubby finger marks off walls around light switches.

Kill those annoying fruit flies...

A small glass and fill it halfway with apple cider vinegar

Add a few drops of washing liquid

Cover with cling film

Poke some holes in the middle with a fork

Leave it some place where you've seen the flies

Check every day to count how fuckers caught.

An old hobo trick.

Instead of spending on deodarants and anti perspirents ,use spray white vinegar from £1 shops.(or some lemon juice) Just as effective and natural, viniger smell goes after a few seconds.Ive used viniger for years

For children painting /drawing, instead of buying expensive writing pads or drawing books ,why not use the back of an old roll of wallpaper

I have a drain snake (YouTube it!) I love poking it down my drains especially my bath one and pulling out all the hair and crap! I take it to my friends houses and my mothers to do theirs as well but I like disgusting things like that, satisfying!

Clean any fabric scorch off your iron by rubbing a paracetamol tablet on the plate while it's hot and wiping off with a wet cloth as you go along

Engine oil can get very hot. So make sure you drain it out of your car during summertime to prevent overheating

Don't waste water washing your car.

Instead just drive it around dirty - old dirt will be hidden by new dirt.

If it gets really bad either take it for a spin in heavy rain (driving through big deep puddle to clean out the wheels and arches) or park it next to a burning building and let the fireman clean it for you whilst they're spraying the flames.
