I'm with you OP. Its Branston all the way now, warmed not overheated and for tomatoes I have had to revert back to Napoilna, a little more expensive but add a little salt and pepper and they are truly sinful.

First sensible thing Op has said for a while.

Always have Branston beans. They’re just nicer.

Also tried the no sugar heinz beans and they can fuck off.

Not keen on BBQ beans but I sometimes put curry powder in the beans.. Saucepan heat and have on toast

They’re not for everyone. Oh nice, not bad.

You should definitely check out Boston baked beans. You slow cook Harriet beans with maple syrup/brown sugar/molasses, onion and bacon
