There's loads of tutorials on the net and especially YouTube. Have a search and get practicing. That's how I learnt

YouTube is a good resource. Just remember to stay to fleshy bits and always have some scissors close to hand

near Merry Hill shopping centre

Some good apps for knots and rope work as well, get the basics right like a sea scout before trying on a partner and make sure you have some way of reliably cutting them out if and when something goes wrong, real rope play isn’t like porn where a crew is standing behind the scenes if something goes wrong.

I got my rope cutting scissors off Amazon. Any decent heavy duty scissors will do

One of the best and most comprehensive places right now is shibaristudy. Some great free content.

Also check out fuocofet in IG. They have put up some good igtv videos during the lockdown

Regarding those scissors, best making sure they are safety medical ones, you don't want pointy ends if cutting close to the skin.

Okehampton

Google theDuchy. Has some really good free videos. You can become a patreon for access to some of the more advanced ties. Is affiliated with Twisted Monk (I’m in love with Tammy!!)

Teaches good basic rope technique and safety. Extremely clear instructional videos

Two knotty boys are good their techniques (using a nylon based rope for the aesthetic) are okay, I have a couple of their books which are good once you have learnt some of the basic stuff

But definitely try at the free stuff on theDuchy first

As many has said you tube is your friend . Knotty boys etc . As a footnote perhaps has to be said that some of our pictures using rope bondage / shibari were delated on this site , for being " too rude " . Non too fussed site rules are site rules , but it did come as a surprise

We have had the same with some of our pics! But hey they are all on FL.

Good medical shears are essential but please dont expect suppliers to be that prompt at the moment.
