"Met a few over the years.

I rode with Guy Martin the other year in a charity bike ride. He had just done the Williams F1 programme we chatted briefly about that and then we got to some hills and because of his gearing on his bike or lack of I gradually pulled away from him but a really decent fella. He had stopped for photos with me after and my two sons.

Met loads of various racing drivers through my previous job and when I was in a BTCC race team. Some of them are really cool and chilled and one or maybe two are a little up the own arse.

I also ride with an ex pro cyclist at an event every year. He is brilliant really grounded and great craic.

But the one that stands out was Muhammad Ali at a book signing. With Parkinson's he obviously wasn't in the best of health but I got to shake his hand and stand next to possibly the greatest sports person of all time.

Gave me a book on Islam which he signed and I still have it.

Many years ago myself and some mates were having a beer in the bar of a Guernsey hotel when Oliver Reed walked in with his young female "friend" & later his last wife (Josephine).

Not long after we'd left he threw the suited manager in the swimming pool and pushed over a tomato sellers stall, all while he was pissed. Very funny chap, still have his autograph on a one pound saying " one pint please" Oliver Reed.

Clare Grogan once tried to run me over in her white panda.

It was in a filling station, and she wasn’t looking where she was going.

Michelle Mone.... I probably didn’t catch her at her best, still ranks as one of the most obnoxious stuck up bitches I’ve ever come across. And I’ve met a lot of bitches!

Stewart McCall ( ex Rangers) once tried to give me his autograph, my puzzled look, plus the bank card in my hand he was wanting to sign... embassesment was all on him..

A famous author and a well known footballer have both floooked me, one was really decent, one had issues, I do enjoy the walk of shame sometimes.

I met loads of test cricketers in my semi-pro playing days, my favourite was Sir Viv Richards who brought me a drink.

I know three current England test players who are really good guys and down to earth, Chris Woakes, Oli Stone and Dom Sibley.

My ultimate favourite though is Ronnie Wood who I met in an art gallery in Brum about 10 years ago. I was thinking to myself “fuuuuck I’m chatting to a Rolling Stone” and was a little tongue tied but Ronnie has an easy charm and really puts you at ease.

I go to comicons regularly, so my room is filled full of those funko pop collectibles signed by the actors. I have photos on the walls of me in costume next to the actors too.

After 35 years as an advertising & PR photographer Ive lost track of names. But as a big Status Quo fan on my youth it was great to spend a morning with Francis Rossi & snap him in his home recording studio for a loudspeaker manufacturer a few years ago.

Rik Mayall after a standup show. He was very different to his loud, crazy onstage/screen persona. I found him to be softly spoken and a real gentleman. Much missed.
