sweetest gift

Yesterday, my 7 yr old grandson game me a birthday card. The envelope was bulging and I could hear it jangling. There was money inside.

My grandson unbeknown to his mom emptied his piggy bank and gave me all his change..£4.80.

That really touched me.

I love that boy..he makes my heart burst with pride.

What's the sweetest or most unexpected gift you've received?

Hefty Hideaway

Oh he sounds like an absolute darling.

I'm lucky that I have wonderful and thoughtful friends. The most recent surprise was a parcel of Pascal's Pineapple Chunks from my gorgeous NZ friend. Absolutely yum! It was in return for a cheeky mug I'd sent

That's so sweet

I was chatting to my 7year old neighbor over the fence and told him I liked his towel (he had been in the paddling pool)

Yesterday he tried to give it to me for my birthday

My nephew bought me a ship in a bottle from a car boot sale because I worked on boats. I've still got it and love it because of the thought behind it

Shout out your grandson!

Anything my gf gets me is always perfect but the only other one that stands out is a colleague making me some ‘open when’ envelopes with positive messages to get me through my new job. Still have them now and still use them to pick me up!

That's heartwarming. My little ones does that too. Found some change around the house last week and gave it to me.. mummy here you have it so you dont need to worry about money anymore.

My eldest got a tone of handmade bday cards from some kids she doesn't even know well after my little social media appeal. It made lockdown bday so much better.

We decided to paint some rocks found in the local stream and gave then to our friends too.

Aww bless, kids get you in the heart when you least expect it.

It's great to think of others and share that with the kids...teach them by example x

Thata so sweet. Lucky you.

I once had an anonymous gift at work- a teddy bear and chocs and a note complementing my smile etc from a work colleague. It was left by my PC. Still trying to find this secret santa.

How intriguing. I'd be dying to know.

I'd have had security rewind the camera

Yeah, I would have done the same, but there were no cameras. It was an old building. Makes me wonder sometimes. Dont work there anymore though.
