Do you find it odd if a woman has to drive you round places?

Guess this applies to men who do drive but are then made a passenger by a woman driver.. do you feel uncomfortable taking a back seat?

As a female i think its nice to be a passenger as a man drives around. Just wondered how men feel about it

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

My ex husband didn't drive for quite a while so I always had to do the driving which was a bit of a bummer as he was teetotal but I was designated driver, eventually I put my foot down and refused to take him to gigs and such so he learnt then he hated being a passenger.....my last ex also hated being a passenger, so always drove - have to say I do prefer being chauffeured round, but I've learnt to enjoy the freedom of bombing down the motorway or round our twisty country roads, rock music playing at top blast, singing (howling, if I'm totally honest) at the top of my voice....if it weren't for those pesky speed cameras, it'd be one of life's pure little joys

I suppose I am the classic example of this... I didn't drive till a month ago...

Was never phased by not driving at all, never had the urge and because I worked for the railways I could go where I fancied on my pass..

It was only when I was made redundant and they were not going to let us keep the passes that I thought "bugger me if I am going to give em money after they got rid of us!" that I started learning

Have to say though... Rather enjoying whizzing round in the hippy wagon!

Yes, it feels weird sitting on the left hand side of the car. i get loads of funny looks of whoever is driving when i walk to the drivers door and realise im a passenger, and then have to walk back to the other side.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I'm a dreadful passenger seat driver so find it best to drive myself. Men drive too slowly for me.

I don't find a woman driving me around odd at all (when it happens lol).

I'm equally as happy being the driven as the driver to be honest

Never really bothered me, I quite like being chauffeured around and I'd often be out to pubs night clubs etc, so driving wasnt an issue and i worked in town so I wouldn't be keen on parking in town either so not driving has suited me.

However now that I'm learning, after getting used to being behind the wheel, maybe ill hate being a passenger!

I reluctantly took lessons at my last job 'cos they were paying, but they also made me redundant before I finished them, so..waste of money!

I really don't like driving - I'm apparently not bad at it, I just really, really don't like it. my early life was spent in London and then Reading, both quite compact and foot-accessible places, so I've never really had the need to drive - certainly not enough of a need to justify buying a car!

would much rather doze off on a train or listen to the radio on a bus than have to be alert travelling on the road.

I hate being a passenger with anyone driving... male or female.

I love driving, and hate sitting watching others doing it.

(Only exception being a cab driver when i am on my way home from the pub).

Durham

I have no problems with women driving, as long it isn't my car

Two of my ex girlfriends crashed my cars, so not keen on taking risks...

But recently moved to town centre and....

...have no parking space! There are only very few free spaces in the area, not easy to get, and about 10min walk from mine, so now I'm mostly on public transport

Sassy penn inn is easy, just pick your lane and stick with it, although most students like you say hate the penn inn ! B&Q is the pain in the bum 12 lanes of traffic. Hours of fun ps if you fancy some refresher lesson sassy give me a shout x

Because my other half spends up to 40 weeks of the year driving all over the country with work, whenever he is home I generally end up doing all the driving as he is fed up with motoring.

He's happy with that....

Am comfortable being driven by my missus, but she can't go 1/2 a mile without slagging other pedestrians/cyclists/taxis/buses/volvo drivers off so would sooner drive myself.

As a biker I HATE being pillion to anyone.
