The sadness behind unusual behaviour?

Near Maidenhead

Caution - emotional content ahead.

I felt unappreciated by friends when I was at school. That could be partly why I like nudism etc. My parents were loving and they are both still around, but I've recently been diagnosed with a form of autism that could explain as a child my difficulties relating.

Meanwhile I have a woman friend who I will call C who is unusually huggy and tactile and even described as "raunchy" by her friends. Today I learn that her mother died suddenly when C was only 21 years old and C says she misses her mum.

Another example: Ffyona Campbell, who walked around the world, apparently did that partly because of her difficulties getting the attention and approval of her father.

Now the lockdown has given us all plenty of time to reflect... what's your thoughts??
