What's made you smile today? Positive vibes

Good evening dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

These are most certainly anxious times for many . A very different bank holiday than most of us are used too. I send you all a cwtch from Wales.

I've had a very splendid day off, it's been a sunny if a chilly day here.

I've been out for my one a day wander , and very locally. I'm so lucky to live in the countryside and my heart goes out to you all who are in urban areas .

There had been over night showers here , this and the sun has brought out the wild flowers in the woods . Particularly the wild orchids that thrive in our woodlands .

Seeing their beautiful colours , mixed with birdsong and the warm cocnunt scents of the gorse bushes have taken my mind from our current situation.

Back to work tomorrow , and I share many people's worry about social distancing and it's flouting by just a few .

Today though I have been surrounded by natures glory .

So my dear friends what has made you smile today.

Please share the light of positivity in these dark times

Taff

Mine's pretty much the same as yours OP. We moved here 15 years ago as we didn't want to bring our kids up in the city we were living in. I smile every day at that fantastic decision we made especially when walking one of the many scenic routes that are on our doorstep. These times have really made me stop and really appreciate the beauty around us.

That and helping my mum trying to get to grips with technology.

Enjoying a walk in the countryside and enjoying the peace of the birds singing and the water in the stream.

Swansea

I (her) had a lovely run this morning, it was nice and early, cool, hardly anyone about. Definitely gave me positive vibes.

An evening with Mr and my my son, we enjoyed a great meal together and spent a few hours watching tv. It was such a treat to have a pre teen actually spending time with us for the entire evening without anyone being on their phones. X
