"Taking a break from social media. " This is a great one. I cut it out well before COVID for a bit. Back on it now for entertainment and to pick up any info that might be useful. I read something about smartphones really not helping and I’d fallen into the trap of actually buying mindfulness apps to help. The irony of it all. | |||

"Being active. Maybe some form of exercise. And being outdoors. ![]() ![]() Sometimes mental stimulation helps, painting, drawing, baking, etc. That's what my dad was told when he had his breakdown. He was in hospital with it, he got to use the workshop to make things. I know it is not quite the same, but it was a coping mechanism for coping with depression afterwards. | |||
