So how hard is it to cut your own hair exactly? Mine is long and straight, how hard could it be? Needed a haircut when this all started and now can hardly even brush it. Help me!

I once used cellotape to stick my fringe down in a “straight line” once. Hah! That didn’t work!! Wonkiest fringe i ever had!

Don’t do it is my advice

Oh no..I can just imagine.

I've cut my own fringe a couple of times in the past.. never tried cellotape though

Cut your fringe only or I’m sure it will end in tears lol just put a bobble in it or clip it up, easy.

Good conditioner or a mask, cling film over conditioner, leave for a few hours.

Don't cut it

I'm going to go against what everyone else has said because I've just cut mine and I survived.

I spoke to my hairdresser who said put it in the highest ponytail possible and gradually cut the ends. That's what I done and it's worked. It may not be perfectly straight but it feels so much better

Good luck

Easy, I have number 1 grade all over including stubble once a week. I will go to barbers as usual for a while once lockdown is over to support them, then carry on cutting my own.

I cut my own hair, haven't been to a hairdresser for nearly 4 years now. But then I have curly hair so it's much harder to see if it's been cut unevenly. Not sure I'd recommend it for straight hair unless you're chopping it all off!

Can't wait to reopen my salon. So many disasters to put right from pics my clients have sent me..

Fringe trimming is rather simple for all to do, other than that stay away from the scissors please. Tie it up..
