It really depends on the pain and the way it's given.

There's a fine line between pleasure and pain hence the reason people enjoy it sexually.

Psychological pain often happens because it's what someone thinks they deserve sadly.

Was replying to op, but yeah big difference. Physical pain triggers pleasure responses for me. In terms of emotional pain it really depends what you mean I suppose? A little humiliation and degradation and that kind of role play can be fun within scenes and with a trusted partner
