During this shit time, how many singles are so glad theyve got pets. I have 3 very vocal siamese cats and they certainly help rid me of boredom

Definitely. I have 3 dogs so it helps with the boredom and gives me a reason to walk outside for 30 minutes to help with the exercise.

I miss having a cuddly dog or cat. However, I do have a very vocal, playful parrot who helps keep me entertained.

Not too bad - they are a bit knotty at the moment but they groom each other. We went for a swim today and that helps with the knots.

How lovely! Men who love cats are the best!

I have 2 Siamese, 2 Orientals, and a Bengal. I cannot emphasise strongly enough how amazing animals are. They make us better people, I'm sure of it.

Id love a bengal or even 2, but as i dont let mine out id feel theyd be bored, as they are still too close to their wild genes with energy levels.. the meezers are/ were energetic but not enough to destroy the house

Up on them there hills

Woof is great, get out into the woods, he makes the odd chase at them big rabbits (deer), wanging sticks, tree rabbits (even cats are rabbits)

So clears my mind in a morning.

For information, one of his pals is a cat rabbit called Dave).

Awww, I wish mine did headbutts.....

They have their own things, though; one taps on your arm for fuss and the other nibbles you if she gets super-excited when being fussed.

most fundamental aspects

I have a ginger lump (he’s 7.5kg but carries it well) who is a constant companion through this. He is suspected to be part Scottish Wildcat hence his size.

He doesn’t act like most cats and is very sociable to almost anyone. In some respects he behaves more like a dog than a cat.

Two Bengals here - brother and sister (indoor - but do go into the garden with supervision) not a day goes by without some added smiles due to their antics

You could always just go for a walk “for the fun of it”, and to enjoy the air and scenery, rather than just relying on having dogs to make it justifiable as an exercise choice
