can you guess what happened next?

so.

during the night my sleep was disturbed by a sudden noise.

couldn't work out what it was as it was over very quickly so I went back to sleep.

when I wake up this morning I see my cat in her bed. she is smiling at me with her eyes closed, then yawns and stretches out.

I get up, look at the clock then head to the bathroom. brush teeth and open the window.

next I head down the stairs and part way down to open another window and can see the neighbour is getting ready to cut his grass.

then I shout 'OH GOD!'

what happened next.
