I have just been asked on a virtual date and I love the idea of it....but conversation by message I'm rubbish at.

How would you approach a virtual date?

I’d take them to a secluded corner of WhatsApp. Then send them images of a beverage of their choice. Followed by a picture of my biscuit cupboard. By then, they’d have probably run a mile

Sounds like a good idea, but I think you'd need to agree to turn off your phone/notifications form any/all devices,and try not to get distracted from each other, to make it feel "focused"?

That sort of investment of time in getting to know someone is rare currency on here

Yes ..both dress up..get a nice drink. Sit in a pleasant environment and put your laptop on a pillow with a shirt on and pretend the face on the Skype call is a real guy .....
