I get you and I wouldn't think it strange, dependant on the name. Some names on here are a little crude and I would find it a little peculiar calling them by it in the real world.

I've only met 2 girls from here. 1 I ended up seeing for a few months so she called me by my real name. Other was just a 1 off and I quite liked being called MrBants by her!

Thank you for your replies everyone and I'm crap at getting back to everyone on a thread I start so my apologies for that.

Would you lot say its person specific depending on the name like I mentioned? Like are there usernames you've seen that you just couldn't call someone in person?

The group socials I've been to we had to wear name tags with our Fab name on but we all swapped our real names as we got chatting. Well, I gave my real name anyway lol

I'm terrible at names.I've had people tell me their real names and I've forgotten in minutes.

And it's mighty tricky after you've bounced them round the bedroom to then say "Erm, so what were you called again?"

Last lady l met here got to know my real name in chatting but didn't tell me hers till the night we actually met ,and she actually preferred her username to her real name ,and was the most amazing lady in heart ,mind ,body and soul a guy could ever meet ... ABSA-FUCKING-LOUTLY.

Been on the site since it started and met literally 100s of people, only 3 of who know my real name.

I actually like to have it that way. It sort of keeps both worlds seperate.

No. Everyone i've met through fab knows my real name and I theirs. I use their real name when addressing them 1:1.

The only exception is my good friend Hanky. I always call her that!
