We set up a social Minecraft server, and GC is playing far too much Overwatch to be healthy. GG has been playing a lot of Banished, and both of us have been playing loads of board games, online RPGs through R20 and Discord, and the Jackbox party games (especially Fibbage and Quiplash) also through Discord.

My son has that, he has finished the first chapter... Amazing game and the graphics are stunning.

He loved the original and would play it with his Dad so it kind of epitomised his childhood

Lord of the rings online on pc been playing since 2007 with a 3 year break in the middle.

PC Gamer, put alot of hours in to Assetto Corsa Competzione mostly the last few months. Been playing TableTopSimulator with friends alot during lockdown. Alot of Modern Warfare/Warzone grinding for Damascus and Total War warhammer 2.

The remake is incredible.... Beautiful graphics. My son has just completed the first chapter... FF7 was his favourite as a child and he was stunned by the remake.

Though yeah 2nd hand PS4, maybe an older model as the 1st gen consoles always seem to be the best

I had been playing mainly roll of honour playstation two games quite Intense fighting playing one level about 15 times to get through averageing over 15 hours of game play on one level to much for me I would of loved to see any gamer get passed that level I,m not a betting man normally but I bet there are not many gamers who could could pass though that game, for me the downside was the lack of being able to (save) enough through the game and quickly became tireing which I think became unfair but of course the stakes had gone up which was obvious from the Intensity of It all at that stage I lost heart In the game, The sega mega drive mini is a bit of a novelty thou..

Armour Piercing Shells when side on, so the obvious. Seems to also be from the Jean Bart as that ship has a huge firing range.

Really hope that the success means we FF VIII fans get a full remake rather than the current subpar “hd” version which is the exact same as the original.

They are releasing it in 3 parts I believe, and that will be because they will still be working on the next chapters and incremental release.

My younger son is a game developer, he is working on something which is due for release 2023 and been in concept for two years already so god knows what the timeframe would be for something like FF7.

My guess is the remake was in conception soon after the original.

I don't think changing the story was ever an intention but to recreate with modern graphics, there would be enough coding and scripting involved to do that alongside the original as it was without adding more..

Its only 4 man squads anyway iirc. I only play Ground War to complete certain challenges and level up sniper rifles as I mainly play Hardcore. The Maps are pretty mediocre imo and turn in to spawn killing clusterfuck pretty quickly or you ended up getting nuked via killstreak or because the opposite team hold all the flags. But some people like that i guess

I agree with the gunplay IW cod's have all ways felt better to me and more fluid than Treyarch cods and BF. Mainly because I come from Quake, CS:Source and old CoD's i think.

60 quid? Wtf, I guess thats console? I didnt even pay that much at launch think it was like £45.

I would say yes, had mine since launch. Some tremendous immersive games (Blood and Truth, Moss, Astrobot), things that genuinely make you go wow. You have to have a strong stomach though as people who haven't gone on VR tend to go really dizzy and want to upchuck, but it gets better over time.

Well ACC will be out in Sept i think for console. I very much recommend it if you enjoy sim racing and or GT3 racing.

Got Xbox/PS4/PC/Switch, sitll struggle to find games I enjoy...

Currently playing Valorant Beta as I play LoL a lot so thought I'd try it out.

Want to get a decent sim setup to start drifting on Assetto Corsa again but just don't have the room at the moment

I've been doing world of warships but my laptop is really to old. The cpu is not high spec enough

- I’ve been playing this on the Xbox. Just got the Bismarck and massively disappointed, it’s a damage Magnet!

What's doing the damage? AP? HE? Fires? Torpedoes? Aircraft?

Armour Piercing Shells when side on, so the obvious. Seems to also be from the Jean Bart as that ship has a huge firing range. "

I've been playing a mixture of things since lockdown, Gods and Asdivine Hearts on Switch whilst I'm waiting for Trails on Mana to be released. Football Manager, Warzone and Thimble Park on PC and playing through Scret of Mana and A Link to the Past on SNES AGAIN!!

Bloodbourne is hard

Father Gascoigne is a arsehole, get past him and you should be good until the last 1/4 of the game tbh.

I personally found Sekiro harder, atleast for the first 10 or so hours as im used to dodge rolling in Dark Souls

They are expensive but worth it! The new Zelda game alone is reason enough. Ocarina of time was a N64 game so not available but they may put N64 games on the online service. Have to wait and see.

I managed to buy a second hand switch a week before this all kicked off and escaped the massive price hike with them.

So I’m playing Zelda Breath of the Wild.

I hadn’t owned a console since the 360, so I’m enjoying it.

I had the urge to play Rome Total War on the pc (classic of a game) but my old laptop can’t run the disk any more!

Also got skyrim on pc as well I want to get back into DAYZ but I'm forking out for it yet

Good luck on world of warships, I'm better with a battleship. Can't really hit much with a destroyer. I always seem to get detected before I get to torpedo range.

Borderlands 3 isn’t doing it for me to much like the previous games. So looking for something new was looking forward to ff7 remake but from what I’ve seen they’ve changed the battle system which is what put me off the newer games.

Afaik it has a choice between the newer system and slightly revamped turn based system

Destroyers aren't in a good place at the moment, especially the ones that relied on being able to stealth torpedo. Between the proliferation of radar and long-range hydro and the new carriers, staying stealthy is a lot harder than it used to be once you get past tier 4-5.

Can you get Uplay on Xbox then?

I know Total war warhammer 2 will have a free trial this weekend also.

Kinda hoping Star Citizen will have a free fly event soon
