Hey guys gals an couples an tvs just really wondering about the uk swingers I see most of ye all have faces up on profiles an don’t mind showing your faces but very little here in lreland will show faces an some can have reasons behind it but not all!! My reason would be that I’ve got kids an a lot of ppl would not know about fab or my lifestyle!! So the question is why do ya show faces or do ppl have some real reasons for not showing there faces an everyone to there own on this aswel?? Just very curious to know??

This is my reason as well. I'm not ashamed of being on here but I've always been a private person and my sex life is private no need for people I may know in passing in real life knowing I am on here.

Yes very same here an a lot of us females have family an thing but not showing your face wouldn’t have anything to do with shame your proud swinger you just like to be private!!

Yes hence is I’d say that is the reason for most on the Irish scene a lot smaller here to an I’ve bumped in to swingers tat knew my mother of all ppl so yeit can happen!!

I show mine because tbh, I show my tattoos and they’re recognisable anyway. I never used to, until I had a little bit of fun with him that meant I couldn’t accept his challenge and not show my face

after that there didn’t seem much point in hiding it.

I tend to think that if people are on here then they should respect my need for privacy re my sex life, as much as I would them, and so showing my face shouldn’t be an issue.

We don’t show his because of his job. His tattoos also make him identifiable, so his privacy is and always will be important to us x

We have the benefit of him being Irish and living in the uk. And it is fundamentally cultural difference. Ireland is very judgmental, in our opinion, when it comes to sex, sexuality, and we’ll let’s be honest most things that people find pleasure in, barring alcohol.

The eye opening, jaw dropping, candid behaviour when it comes to just the vanilla folks in the uk chat about sex blew his mind when we first came here. Albeit, we do live in essex! Hahaha!

That’s awful, feel for you. I was briefly stalked by someone in the village I lived in- messages about what I was wearing, where I was etc. Blocked them, and relieved to say moved away. I hope that this awful ordeal ends for you sooner rather than later. Be safe. Hugs. Viv xx

Ohhh I’m telling ya a lot is taboo here is ire even for men an been bi is a massive topic here an most men won’t even put it on there profiles cos women won’t meet them cos they meet men everyone to there own an Ireland is so judgemental even the swingers are to certain types of sexual acts aswel it across the board here!! Ire needs to take a chill pill on the whole judging others cos we’re all on this site for a reason wether it be sex or not!! But I get exactly what your saying!!

I started off without a face pic simply because I wouldn't like my family to think I'm some kind of sex fiend. I've since put one up that's buried in my profiles public images, I think I did this because I have always fabbed face pics most and I thought I may as well show my own. Its black and white and kinda side on and not on Facebook so I hope no one would recognise me anyway

If it was just the forums, I'd happily show my face but theres too many local idiots that could easily out me and I'd rather not have that for the sake of my kids and ex partner.

When I first joined fab I had my face as a profile pic until I was recognised at the school gates when picking the kids up one day I'll happy send a face pic but I dont have it public anymore due to that

We never had face pics up until we went to a party. A person at the party knew a friend of ours and the next day the hubby's phone went mental. The person had only told everyone we knew we were swingers. So after that we thought why hide our face pics
