I'm quite the opposite, Welsh accent is seriously offputting, I just phyiscally can't listen to Welsh (personal preference and can't help what my ears like to hear) - but scousers do it for me

In terms of the Welsh accent I spent my University days at Aberystwyth. There I began to appreciate the subtlety of the three main Welsh regional accents. Ultimately I fell for beautiful girl from Rhayader in mid Wales. For those that aren’t aware the north Welsh is a much harsher sound and intonation than the totally sing song type Southern valleys Welsh. The mid Welsh has elements of both which just makes my legs turn to jelly but my willy stand to attention!

You can tell exactly what part of Wales someone is from by counting how many syllables we use to say the word 'owl'.

Depends what part of Wales. South Wales is proper butty, west sounds more English and North Wales varies a bit but you can easily tell a north Wales accent.

Even Chinese people speak welsh in north Wales

I do love a welsh accent. Seems I have a welsh neighbour a few doors down and even when she is bawling at her kids in the garden, from an upstairs window her voice has a nice lilt to it
