Why, in these times of a deadly pandemic do ITV deem it crucial to ship a reporter and camera crew to report on something??

just this morning, news of Boris being moved to A&E, so what do ITV news do?? They ship Ranvir Singh to stand on a patch of grass outside Parliament, another reporter & crew are stood on the road outside St. Thomas Hospital, and another crew and reporter outside number 10. and all saying more or less the same things, all of which could have been done by the newscasters (Morgan & Reid) in the studio.

Because news reporters think they are essential!

Because the whole of itv is set around sensationalist & celebrity programming so their news coverage is of the same vein. I only watch ant & Dec & the voice & occasionally the weather in the hope that Lucy Verasamy or Jo Blythe will be presenting it.

East Sussex

BBC had Laura outside Parliament and another reporter outside St Thomas's. Considering that even the weather reporters are telling us to observe social distancing and to only make essential journeys you'd think the TV stations might get together and agree to send one representative for all of them the each location
