People we’ve never met but trying to help locally where we can " That's lovely We have a group chat going on Facebook with people and families in my street. We have decided to set up an easter egg hunt up our street including clues to find the eggs that we have all bought. Followed by an Easter bonnet competition. One family at a time in the street and the children to wear their bonnets in their gardens. I've asked the local shopkeeper to judge and they have donated prizes. I even sent out little invites to families inviting them to participate. | |||

Wouldn’t call myself a Hero. Sad really that it takes something like this for people to have more thought & kindness towards others. Maybe moving forward we can all be more considerate to our fellow human beings "Exactly this. Kindness and compassion is so far removed from modern society and it would be lovely if it becomes more commonplace as a result of this. What you’ve done is just a wonderful way to make a positive impact on people’s lives and that’s beautiful | |||

"So yesterday was my first day in isolation and it went pretty well. I cut the grass and fixed my gate and cooked lovely fresh food which was all pretty good. But the thing that made my day was my neighbour made an apple cake and left some wrapped in foil on my doorstep, and then she sent me a message to let me know it was there. How lovely is that? What positivity have you had from your time at home in these strange times? " Training this year's Robins to feed out of my hand. Not quite there yet but he/she has got a gf/bf and it's all going well | |||

But the thing that made my day was my neighbour made an apple cake and left some wrapped in foil on my doorstep, and then she sent me a message to let me know it was there. How lovely is that? What positivity have you had from your time at home in these strange times? Training this year's Robins to feed out of my hand. Not quite there yet but he/she has got a gf/bf and it's all going well" That’s such a great connection to make with the local wildlife. When I was growing up we had huge windows in the living room and birds often flew into them. I used to rehabilitate them and set them free once they’d recovered but some used to hang around and fly back to me for years afterwards. I hope you get there, it’s so rewarding  | |||

"The town where I live have set up a Teddy Bear Hunt for kids out taking their daily exercise - the idea being that anyone that wants to take part can register for a number - they then display that number in their window along with a teddy bear or selection of teddy bears and kids out and about can spot and "collect" them - nearly 1000 people have registered so far and alongside it have raised nearly £2500 for NHS charity support " This is a double winner! How good is that for the kids and raising money for the NHS? Great community spirit  | |||

They come into the house for company"That’s so cool! It reminds me of a weaver bird I had that used to fly into the house every morning for breakfast. The crazy thing used to love bacon which is definitely not part of their diets! | |||
