Does everyone have an ultimate Fab crush, that you may or may not have had a conversation with. But they are out of reach. Could be for many reasons. Age, distance, tastes, compatibility.

I’m not shy to admit I do, not to say there are not also some amazing guys that I have or will meet. But there is an ultimate one.

Distance .. if you get the buzz distance is no matter. I'd say still message people. You never know. It depends what you're after. I have followed my instincts on a couple of occasions and found gorgeous connections at the opposite end of the country from here and other sites.

No, if someone is out of reach for things I can't control (age, compatibility etc) then they'd never reach "crush" levels - anything that I can control (distance for instance) there are ways to work round it if the interest is mutual

I can say there are 3 or 4 ladies on fab the I do have eyes for that I know I have 100% no chance with at all a couple of them I've spoken do and talk to offen enough and a couple I have either spoken to a couple of times or not at all

And I believe the reason for having no chance is a combination of distance and looks

I'm gonna wait till this lockdown is over so I can organise a road trip on my bike. Take in a few sights around the UK and make a point of meeting my FAB crushes.....if they'll meet me that is....Whether its for nothing more than a coffee or an overnight stay with a cooked breakfast in the morning!

I think you may be right in some cases but I think for those of us that regularly use the forums we will naturally be drawn to other users regardless of distance and build a connection even know people are miles away.

Its easy to get close to people you chat to regularly with out even thinking about distance until it's to late by which time you already fancy then

I had one, messaged a few times and received polite replies, always saying I was too far away. I had to give up for fear of annoying them and accepted they were always out of my league anyway. So I watched quietly from a distance.

Then I came across a profile on another site, body pic only (as were fab pics) and thought “I recognise you “! So I tried a fresh angle and we met within a week. That was in November last year and now we’re in love like I would never believe!

Really don’t get the distance thing , admittedly we tend to have a preference for non local meets as we like adventures but surely it’s better to meet the right people, even if it’s a bit of challenge to make it happen?

It might not work out, you might give up a weekend and cost of travel/accom, but your options to choose from are much better and it will probably be a good experience anyway visiting a new place, new club, like a mini holiday !

If it does work out you have a new friend/s and can take in turns to travel or meet half way. Some of the best relationships are when you have to overcome travel , you both know you’re making the effort because they are worth it.
