I shot various guns in Krakow last year. Loved it. There are loads of indoor ranges there. Super cheap too

In the early 90s I fired quite a few in the army cadets. Shotguns, rifles of various sizes, but the one that I remember the most was a Bren machine gun on a bipod. That was a mental experience.

I've done it in Vegas. Handgun, shotgun and machine gun. Machine gun was bloody brilliant. Not so keen on the kick from the shotgun.

I’d recommend going to a country fair that has shotguns and start there, most will have a clay pigeon shoot where you can have a go for a few.

Or find a fellow fabber who shoots

I had a n air rifle when I was younger and.livung in the country, had a few goes with a shotgun.

There are (pre c word) lots of clay pigeon shooting clubs that do a try it out session. It's great fun

I’ve shot a couple of real guns in America, it’s an odd feeling like something so easy and quick as pulling a trigger can have devastating effects but I only shot a few targets and the assault rifles are harder than it seems hahah

Yes. An air rifle as a teenager. It was my mate’s Dad’s. We were messing about in a garden. My mate shot at a couple of pigeons but thankfully missed my turn next.

I picked up the gun and lined up the sights. I could see him ducking up and down in the distance. I pulled a gently back on the trigger until bang. Milliseconds later I saw his head blown off. The woodcutter windmill was now decapitated. Unfortunately the pellet also hit the plate glass window of the neighbours house and alerted her. Ranting and raving she screamed with fury as we scarpered I to the relative anonymity of my mate’s house.

I never shot a gun again.

In the Army from a browning pistol, SLR to GPMG. Various others we got hold of over the years, but the above was issued with ammunition.

No big deal, but I could still strip them all down blindfolded.

Before gun ownership was made virtually impossible my brother in law had full firearms ticket he had few guns and a friend who had lots. Been lucky enough to shoot shot guns, standard and pump actions, an Uzi, sniper rifles and old black powder rifles but the most Impressive was a Dirty Harry Magnum like a hand held cannon very powerful. Even now I own air rifles
