Well that doesn't make any sense. It concluded at the end of ashes to ashes what it's all about (no spoilers). I can't see where they'd take it after it was all explained

It's nothing like Demolition Man - the "future" in this case was present day.

It was an excellent series and so glad to hear that one of the writers has said they are planning a third and have an idea that will work - whether it actually makes it from idea to screen remains to be seen

No other way round - detective from present day ends up in the 70s (first series) and 80s (second series which was called Ashes To Ashes)

yes it's the sequel to life on mars and set in the early 89s and is continued with phil glacier as the di and keeley hawkes as the new person
