So got in to a friendly argument about who is the better lead singer off AC/DC.

For me it will always be Bon Scott where as my mate says Brian Johnson?

So fellow fabbers who gets your vote

Don't forget Axl too.

Personally I think Joe Pasquale should have got the gig, but hey-ho.

Bon for me but then I always think the original is better no matter what and I’m old enough to remember the original releases lol

Brian has come a great job though

It’s wrong to compare both singers, who was better in Genesis, Gabriel or the not so popular Collins although he ensured they stayed popular and relevant especially in the 80s.

Bon Scott died the rock stars death so for doing that.

However Brian Johnson ensured they remained a great rock group, to me you don’t compare just enjoy the music

I know it’s boring but it’s got to be ‘Back in Black’

I dug out a pile of vinyl to get me through this whole working from home, I have a box set that has High Voltage, Dirty Deeds and Powerage in it. It’s set to be blasted tomorrow.

I prefer Phil Collins actually and as I have previously said Bon Scott is my favourite as I love his voice never once have I took anything away for what Brian Johnson has done who in his own right is an amazing singer

Oh and since Genesis have been mentioned, is it coincidence that the world has gone to shit since they reformed? I mean I’m not blaming them, it just seems a bit weird....l

I’m a fan of Collins Genesis as well also massive fan of Peter Gabriel.

Loving a singers voice is totally different though, I really like Chris Rea but understand if others don’t like his gravelly tone.

Bon Scott is great and I get it, but maybe my age and when I started to listen to them, it’s Brian for me

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

AC/DC were the first band that I ever saw at the Queen's Hall, Derby in 1977

I had a day off work so that I could go and buy Back in Black when it was released, and the title track is the only ringtone that I've ever had.

I still have several of their albums on vinyl. Both singers have their merits, but Bon shades it for me

When it comes to debates about singers or music in general I enjoy these discussions. Maybe an age thing but they’re never personal or nasty. We know what we like and will have convincing reasons for our passions.

My Mate at work is a massive Status Quo fan, I have a go at him consistently over it, so used to these conversations. I mean we all can agree Status Quo are shit

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Prefer Bon Scott myself! "Highway To Hell" & "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" are my all time favourite albums...

Johno's finest hour was quite rightly said above - Black In Black. It's a rock album classic. Very rare to get an album where all the tracks totally rock!

Live wise I think he struggles with the Bon Scott tunes. But that's only my opinion - and yes, I have seen them.

Marc Storace from Krokus has a distinctive voice. Very similar to Bon Scott's. Their earlier album works are awesome too. My fave tracks:- Our Love; To The Top; Bedside radio; Tokyo Nights; screaming In The Night ... a good back catalog!
