First things first is it ok to call them unicorns?

I know they are called unicorns cos they are hard to find but jeez we’re having no luck

I know we are all in lockdown but would like to arrange something for after or at least talk to some

My boss called me a unicorn last week in a staff meeting!

I was a bit shocked

I think she meant more "diamond" because I went out of my way to do some stuff for people, but got the wrong word!

It's OK to call somebody a unicorn if they are OK with that, but not if they aren't.

They are kind of difficult to find although we have found several potentials who want to meet us. The trick is, in my opinion, talk to somebody because you like them not because you want them for your own satisfaction. Build up a rapport. Making friends with people is much more likely to lead to more than giving them the impression they are an item on your shopping list.

We know at least five women who potentially might be interested in more that a platonic thing who have said they would meet us. We have not said anything to them about wanting them in our bed and we aren't angling at that either. We just enjoy chatting with them. If something happens we would be delighted but we're still very happy just knowing them. I think they know that which is why they feel comfortable with us.

If people are comfortable with you, that is a big step down that road.

This is what we’re looking for we would like someone who we can have a chat with and I know it’s bringing a girl onboard but I would prefer to connect with someone’s personality first

We probably get 1 message every fortnight it’s pretty depressing

But now I'm in a couple, I know what you mean, it is hard to find a girl to connect with.

The issue you might have is that you've got no experience, most people aren't looking to teach someone what to do.

The issue you might have is that you've got no experience, most people aren't looking to teach someone what to do. "

I totally understand where your coming from but we know generally what to do but it’s hard cos people want someone experienced but we can’t get that if people are not willing to help a newbie

I've never had an issue with being called a unicorn. In fact I quite like it and use it to describe myself.

But different people have different preferences.
