Lentils with rice. I like moong dal or you can mix it half and half with masoor dal(red lentils).

Bean chilli.

Macaroni cheese.

Buy a massive bag of pasta, and then all your favourite ingredients, make enough for about 20 people and that will last for ages, if you want to avoid going out or save money
