Is it possible (in your experience) to love more than one person at the same time? Romantic love, not family etc.

Has anyone ever been in this position, how did you feel and did you feelings change as time went on?

Asking for a friend

Lots of people asking for friends

I’ve not been in love with two people at the same time, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible

Mind me asking how it went, especially from an emotional perspective for you ?

OP, in all seriousness, yes I think it's entirely possible and was in such a position and the potential for polyamory was there but didn't pan out and the three of us didn't have the emotional know-how to handle all the difficult feelings that arose.

In the end, I had to make a choice. I choice one. Not sure if it was the right choice to this day (I'm not with her but do have a friendship with the other).

Tread carefully and good luck

Yes it is absolutely. Why would it not be possible .. love is not limited to one person in any other area of life.

Yes it is. It’s a horrible thing though, I hated it.

But some things are exclusive, how do you share the unsharable?

I'm poly. I've been with my longest partner over 4 years and he's been seeing another girl for about 18 months. Currently I've been seeing someone else for about 2 months but I previously was dating another for a year. It works for us and we're happy. Absolutely you can love more than one person.

I’m not too sure. But lust can give you very similar feelings in the beginning.

It's perfectly possible but probably a recipe for disaster

About a year. They knew about each other and all three of us are still in touch.

Thinking back, the Valentine's we were together for I was living about an hour either side of each. He visited me on the day and she sent me lingerie in the post

I personally don’t think you can love 2 people at once I think sometimes lust can get mistaken for love ...This of course is only my opinion ..

It ended on good terms, we just all live pretty far apart now. He's in Singapore! She's still in the UK but we live about 3 hours apart. We met up last year for a meal while we were both in London which was awesome and if we were ever passing each other again we would try to meet up.

Very possible! Been there done that. Still with one and not the other. It's as complicated as you make it.
