Odd question relating to birds...

Possibly not the strangest thing ever asked on here, but... has anyone else had crows daily fly down and peck at their patio doors and windows or am I living in an incredibly slow burning Alfred Hitchcock sequel?

It’s the same two that do it and is driving me nuts, but can’t think how to stop it. They still do it even though I’m home to scare them off.

"They’re not birds "

They could well be Satan’s helpers to be honest. If isolation doesn’t drive me mad, they will

"Have you seen the crow???"

Never thought of that. I’m now wondering if I’m dead and they’re trying to help me get revenge or I’ve done something bad I don’t know about?

Next door puts things out on a table. It’s not me. I know they’re clever, so see where you’re going with it

Corvids are incredibly intelligent birds, can they see something through the windows or door they are after?

I don’t think they can see anything. My initial thought was juveniles fighting their reflection through mating season, but I even put a light behind the door so there’s no reflection and they’re still at it

I have heard that a way of dealing with this sort of thing is to put a photo of a bird of prey up in your window.

Good idea. The neighbours will think I’ve gone mental, but might print some off

Let us know if it works. I'd be interested.
