Looking to have a couple of nights in a decent hotel around Heathrow/Gatwick.... but as I am hosting I am looking for hotels where we don’t need a key card at the front desk.

Holiday Inn is quite good for that but unsure on others. Hoping to have friends arrive without me letting them in by the front desk.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Gatwick north terminal has lifts from the entrance straight to the rooms. Bypassing reception. No parking though.
