Too few London socials?

New here... but I am getting the impression that people outside of London are a lot more active on the social scene and arranging socials a lot more often.

Should Londoners get a bit more active?

There are a few regular ones, so not sure there is a lack of them really.

Just need to keep an eye out.

I was thinking more along the lines of spontaneous ones... maybe area based for people that live within a certain distance. Make things a little easier.

There are many London socials, spontaneous or not ... just not always in the forums

We live a very active social life round here

. I am guessing spontaneous socials can be hard to organise you would have to get extremely lucky to get a equal number of men and women all available at short notice.The socials that are organised at Bank , Croydon , Heathrow , Kings Cross , Watford are put on the London forums 4-6 weeks before they happen and there is generally a good mix and ratio of men and women this is because the ladies that organise these socials can get the balance right.

How does one find out about the ones outside of the forums?

There are many London socials, spontaneous or not ... just not always in the forums
