Hotel question

Hi I am travelling to London this week and will be staying in a hotel for a few nights. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of which hotel to stay in.

I would like to arrange a meet or 2 while I’m there. However most hotels now require you to use your keycard just to access the lifts or floors. Being a TV who likes to be discreet i wouldn’t feel comfortable coming down to reception all dressed in fishnets etc. to bring someone up to the room.

Does anyone know of any nice hotels in Central London which don’t require the room key to access the lifts/stairs/floors?

Ah really? I just searched, there are a few of those in Central London. Do none of them require a keycard to get up to the rooms?

You can always ask for a second key to be left at reception to be collected by someone else - would need to give them their name but thats it.

I haven't used them for about 5 years but Ibis used to be like that.

Wembley, Earl's Court and Euston were all easy access.

The Travelodge between Old Street and Moorgate tubes - Great Eastern Street, doesn't requure key cards.

Bloomsbury, London

I stay in the St Giles in Bloomsbury when I want to travel and play at the same time.

Busy lobby which works perfectly for the visitor to be anonymous walking through, and then the lifts take you directly to the floors, no cards needed. Doors also stay latched if you leave them that way, so they can just push it open, and come in to find you naked on the bed.

Am staying at St Giles this whole week, so if anyone wants to push my door open, just let me know and I'll send room number.
