London Lunchtime Social

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

Seen a few posts in past but nothing ever seems to get finalised. Tried a SoHo option a while back but disappointed that only 3 guys and one couple made it. Now it’s obvious loads of swingers commute into London but not so obvious why a lunchtime social doesn’t prove worthy.

Is it just us that think it’s a great opportunity to meet fellow fabbers from different locale? Not the usual crowd you find in normal Home Counties but a mix from all over.

Be interested to see and hear ideas for venues, times, days and location with a view to maybe getting the sun to come out

Good to hear but what area you feel is best or more accessible?

Not sure people will be comfortable mixing work and fab, also lunchtime isn’t enough time so maybe an after work social would work better

Thanks. That makes sense... so an extended open lunch to evening wearing a disguise seems possible

I work in North London but via train & tube can be in certain parts of central London within 30 - 45 minutes so unless I am on leave would be difficult for me to attend a lunch time social. If I am on leave then yes I would be happy to attend also a previous post as has been suggested perhaps extending the lunch into the evening would work better for me but obviously it’s what the majority want.No disguise needed for me I tend to operate below the radar at work.

I can imagine a lunch social doesn't leave much time to arrive back at work on time.

You can get around easily but it will always be a rush on public transport.

I'm in Victoria and can easily get to the strand. Any further then it turns into 'hi' and 'bye'.

But if you arrange something I would be up for a little lunch time speed date.

I and another couple of ladies do regular socials in different parts of london and they are very popular with a mix of different people from the lifestyle.

As previously mentioned above a lunchtime group social doesnt really give people enough time to travel and have a chance to chat without rushing, but i found starting them around 4-5 ish works very well, giving people the chance to come in after work and still able to catch their onward trains/transport in their own time.

I unfortunately dont actually live or work in london, but if you decide to do one and i happen to be off work or on a suitable shift, would love to pop in and say hi

Good luck

Rabbit

Sounds like some good ideas are out there. What about areas for venues? Soho, Piccadilly and Kings X been mooted we see. How about Liverpool Street as well.. pub size to be considered maybe a Spoons or similar?

I’m in Canary Wharf but can get to most suggested venues easily enough, but agree with consensus that late afternoon into early evening is easier than lunchtimes. Please keep me posted should anything be arranged.

Victoria always good for me. Even if I drop in then it's a chance to meet a few people and possibly pick up details for another time.

I would be interested. And as previously stated I think late afternoon going into evening would be best for most people

Sometimes find lunchtimes are best for 121 needs. Glass of wine. Some food. It’s enough of a reason to meet but fast enough if it’s a no. It works all round. Now to just find the woman lol.

Liverpool Street is a great idea. Can meet at lunch times for a social.

Ok so thinking timing from 3pm till you finish on a Friday. Two areas to consider for train and tube links being Charing Cross or London Bridge. Thoughts pleas as may bully Jack into organising

Brilliant

Either options work for me.

Possibly the George near London Bridge.

One area notably quiet.

If I can make socials at Bank / St Paul’s I can make Charing Cross and London Bridge.Charing Cross a bit easier for me but as I said earlier whatever the OP and the majority want.

Lunchtime not too easy for us, but something running from 3pm until a little later might work for one or both. Of the places mooted, Kings Cross or Charing Cross probably best.

London/Gloucestershire

Love the idea of London social.

Meeting fellow adventurers and swapping advice and stories would be great. And as for flirting.... nothing sexier and cooler than that.

Hope it gets organised.

I'm in tower Hill but easy enough to get to Bank, Liverpool Street or London Bridge. Gordon's wine bar @ Elabnkment is a lovely place to meet for drinks. Very intimate and loud so the filthy convos don't have to be monitored by eavesdroppers.

This is such a good idea! An after work social in London would be so convenient! I work near Waterloo so London Bridge/Bank sort of area would be ideal but easy to get to most of the previously mentioned places

Hi all. I'm hoping to attend my first meet-up real soon as I'm interested to meet like minded people who embrace this lifestyle. I much prefer evening times personally due to work but an afternoon slot might just take the edge off a bit which would be welcomed so I'll try make a meet should one go ahead. Location no problem for me either

Hi all,

I work shifts but if it happened to fall on a day off of my early shift it’d be up for meeting like minded kinksters . I work near monument, so Liverpool’s street/ at Paul’s or London Bridge would work for me, but would be happy to travel too
