"I use to go when it was called Elixir about 12 - 15 years ago and tonight ( 13 /03/19 ) I thought I would take a trip down memory lane.As I said I would from a thread called Spa.It is open Tuesday to Saturday 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm to use the facilities it’s £20 for singles & £20 for couples plus £10 for a locker and towel refundable when you return the towel.Check there website for details as they do various massages and you may have to call to book a more specialist massage.It was pretty much as I remembered it all those years ago.A small seating area with sky sports on.One small sauna which maybe fits 5-6 people a hot tub which if you press a button becomes a jacuzzi fits 2 people lying down or 4-5 in seated positions the steam room was looked as it was not working and two showers one a bucket shower and two treatment rooms for the massages.There was a young black lady mid 30’s who showed me around and a older white lady mid 50’s who was doing the massages both seemed friendly enough.There was 2 older guys in their mid 60’s and a guy who was similar age to me early 50’s.The guy similar age to me was going for a massage with the older white lady I sat in the sauna with the young black lady and the two older guys one of the guys said he liked coming here as it was more respectable than Rios and the young lady agreed with him both mentioned bad experiences at Rios.I was later offered a 30 minutes massage for £15 which is not on the website but is on a notice board by the older lady.It was a good basic massage and the lady was friendly enough and made conversation at no stage was a happy ending discussed and she kept her dress on when doing the massage.If you are looking to go hoping for some adult fun I don’t think this is the place for you as there are no private / rest rooms like Rios.However If you are just wanting to use the facilities and maybe a massage then it does the job.Just like it did 12 - 15 years ago when it was called Elixir.The young black girl did say it was quiet tonight perhaps because Liverpool were playing in the Champions League." . If you are just going to enjoy the facilities then it’s fine as long as it doesn’t get too busy as in terms of floor space it’s about a quarter of the size of Rios with one hot tub , one sauna and one steam room.No play rooms and they close at 10.00 pm. | |||

All play is limited to one area at BGHS and that is pretty much strictly enforced where possible. The owners/managers (sisters) at BGHS take a VERY dim view of bad behaviour there and have no hesitation in banning people who break the rules - male or female. | |||

"Hi guys, I have been a few times to Naked Hands Spa and it's just a really laid back place to chill out. I normally go bang on 12:00 opening time as I very often get at least a couple of hours all on my own. The younger black lady who Costas mentioned is Jasmin the owner and she is actually 50 years old (she looks amazing),the other lady is Debbie, she is one of the masseuse's and she is late 50's. Debbie has been there for over a year now and Jasmin actually bought it when it was Elixir. I have actually been in there when newbies have arrived and there dissapointment at finding out it is definately not a swingers club was clearly evident on there faces, infact most leave after an hour and go back to Rio's of which most are comparing it to. I have also been to Rio's and it was an absolute nightmare, just a load of frustrated men running around as soon as a female shows up, my friend who is a jounalist actually attended Rio's in order to run a big story on it which was highly accurate and ammusing. If you fancy just a few hours chilling in the nude, Naked Hands Spa is a good bet, it would probably be busier if it weren't located in the N22 area of London. I go and i'm based in Essex. My only complaints would be that you only get one towel upon entry and that is to use in the fascilities and then also to dry yourself off with after your shower before you leave, it's not that big a problem but if I owned the place, as it is quite quiet I would supply dry clean towels as and when needed. If any of you are curious to anything else plus drop me a message and i'll try and answer it. " .
