"Our customer experience is of the upmost value to us and I'm most dissapointed to hear that you had an unsatisfactory experience at our last event. Smoking indoors has always been against our party policy but on this occasion due to maintenance in the smoking area it was unusable on the night which we didn't have prior warning about. I can assure you going forward guests will not be smoking indoors at any of our parties. We were most frustrated with the drinks system on the night ourselves as it came to us as a surprise. The owner sprung this on us very last minute after having ran many events seamlessly at this venue in the past. We were absolutely furious to hear that the venue owner proceeded to have his own staff take the bottles away from guests in exchange for tokens. On this occasion we were left with no choice but to accept this after a few heated conversations with the owner of the venue on the night. Our policy around drinks has always been to let our guests bring and consume their own alcohol (with NO charges) and in addition to this they have the option to purchase more drinks from the bar on the night (all drinks sales go to the venue owner, we don't make any profit on this). We were extremely dissapointed as we have held many events at this venue in the past and this type of corkage system has never been imposed on us like it was for this particular event and on the night we even tried to compensate for this by purchasing drinks vouchers for guests on the night from our own pocket. We pride ourselves on our customer experience and its something that is of the highest importance to us. We have taken the decision to cancel our next planned event at this particular venue for these reasons. We value all of our guests and their experience is extremely valuable to us and as you may have read we have over 100+ positive feedback verifications from all of our past events. Where as this particular last event had unforeseen circumstances which were out of our hands. An off day can be said. We have learnt from this particular experience and nothing of the sort will ever be happening again. We would personally like to apologise to '"Attractive Couple" and as a gesture of good will we would like to extend our hospitality to you as we have done privately for a few other couples and would like you to join us at a new venue for our next event as... .....a complimentary night free of charge with a complimentary bottle of your choice.... ....and I will personally ensure you are well looked after on the night I humbly request 'Attractive Couple" to send me a private message so we can ensure that your judgement on our parties is not tainted by this one off experience.
