I believe that we need to come together and bring some life to the London forum. We are all more than capable of creating interesting post and having a great time.

I know there are some great people who avoid the chat room , so its time for you to come out of the shadows and into the light

Lets make this post an introduction so that we can all break the ice and get to know each other.

Well I am deffo up for making this forum more fun...

But it does seem that on the London forum people seem to ignore more people then what I have observed on the other forums..

Kits the same as that strange phenomenon that happens on the tube... Nice people suddenly turn into violent zombies haha

I don't really think many people bother with the London forum looking through ,most threads get about 5 replys...including this one probably. .most people seem to want to stick to the main one.

I always look at the London forum but its only when I have finished work .... and that's usually not until 7 ish or at the weekend. To be honest main forums are getting too much for me, dominated by certain very argumentative types .... opinionated etc, about things they clearly know nothing about

But then being a northerner originally means I'm used to actually talking to people!

Absolutely agree that this forum should be the first pit stop for local people!

We are often tempted by last minute meets or socials in North London, where we could both have a beer with like minded people, even if it's just to flirt, be suggestive or arrange other meets??

I appreciate there is a meets forum, but getting to establish regular swinger pubs&other venues would be a neat thing??

I got some very odd looks on tubes and buses when I first moved down here. I couldn't understand why people wouldn't want a chat before work!

Couldn't have put it better myself so much confusion in chat and privately on here. I for one am looking for social meets and anything after would be a Brucie bonus but it seems like being a single guy sometimes means to some I'm just looking for a quick leg over and never to return again. Far from it if people got to know me. I'm all for your idea fella, well thought and said.

Having seen a number of topics being mooted here over the years, it seems that people only think London themed topics re good for the London forum, when in reality many Londoners don't hail from London anyway.

Other regional forums talk about much more general topics, but in London is seems more about meet ups. I agree more general things should be discussed, but then everyone needs to contribute for it to get going and there will be momentum then?

Can't think of a topic myself though, as feeling a but jaded with fab forums these days. Be good for London to be a bit more conversational.

This is getting long. People wanting hook ups from the forum are obvious ... and we aren't really interested in that aspect, but many are. Now I am going to think of a topic, or can anyone else?

A kik London chat could possibly work.

I would want people to actually have a conversation and feel comfortable to talk without them having the risk of being bombarded with vulgar messages and images.

There area lot of parties at the Sutton house where the atmosphere is very social, but we would be up for socials locally

I haven't seen that side of it, Mae, but I agree that so many comments say things like, oh well, I may pop by and don't realise the effort you go to to make these things work. Not sure I do, but I know we aren't flippant about these things. Its doubtful we can make any socials unless they coincide with a bank holiday where we aren't doing anything or a slow period at work. Something a little closer to us in south London would be good for us, so looking forward to what comes if that idea.

Well I say rules should be laid out before invites are made for a Kik. A new forum with the title Kik London improved where we can come up with ideas for the rules and who will admin them on Kik.
