My idea was a social event, nothing more than a beer/drink with like minded people to have the chance to meet other Faber. Public place with no pressure where to discuss and mingle.

I guess would be also a good place for couple or ladies interested in singles o groups to meet real people with no pressure.

The problem here seems that before any of the hidden women (and believe me that they would have looked) poke a toe in this idea you have already turned it sexual! .... So it's no longer a social.

Boys really I mean let's all go for a drink, have a laugh, share some adventures and advice.... You never know who will come through the area doors but talk like the above will probably scare them off....

When I did my first Central London Social, 25 people of the 42 arrived. 8 girls that includes 2 couples and then the rest were single men. Tbh if you want to do a social, most men are more likely to show than women and couples as it can be a bit intimidating as you never know what people expect. But no one should be excepting anything as it's just a social drink.

I have a social this Saturday that is mainly for women, couples and a select handful of single men.

It's very funny how the dynamic happened if you look at it as I'm also hosting a Chill Sunday Social on May 1st that is open to all. Majority are single men and not many women or couples. Check the forums.

I went to the Gloucester Social in February and have to say it was a real mix of single men, women and couples...very well attended and the right mix.

I think it's because it's held on a specific day each month and people register an interest....so they can limit single men...actually I guess they can limit any type of guest.

If a social is planned, the details of the location should not be posted here. People wanting to come need to know that not all and sundry, meaning people who will go for the sensationalism of mixing with swingers, will be going. There is a social on Sunday, but Mae has made sure the people coming are verified as far as I know and the location is kept to only those people and not to be shared.

The Chill Sunday Social is still going ahead even without my attendance. I didn't want to cancel because I believe these events are a great way for genuine swingers and like-minded individuals to meet. I have done my best to organise this, keeping in mind the location is accessible and free. Those that are on the list and still interested in supporting the social have been messaged.

Social are socials, people go there to chat. I don't mind what the mix is because its a social .... you may make connections and find out about something new, or, god forbid, have a good chin wag and banter .... just because lots of men are their, they dont all get their sausage out. We did have onion rings and chips at the last one though ....

I think dude your going about this the wrong way. Yes they may be alot of guys at them but they can work and get you meets once you get to know people.

Think of it from this perspective alot of people I know on here don't even need to use fab for meets anymore as they get recommended to people and once you have proven yourself then you will make friends who will most likely call on you if they are after fun.

Its alright for you girls cause its cheap to get in but us guys pay a fortune and when I was there most of the guys were like dogs on heat so it bored me cause you didn't a chance to chat to anyone cause they all go off in the little groups.

Isn't the case with this one. I was probably the youngest at the last social but I didn't see it as a downside I enjoyed everyone's company and if some offered to invite me for fun I wouldn't turn down their offer as I got along with them
