The forum chugs along at sedentary pace and there's never folk in the chat room.

Where do all you London people hang out?

Occasionally use the London forum, but more often I am at work, spending time with my family or in the other areas .... I always check it but its usually about meets which I dont have a lot of time for, prefer the chat.

Aye the tube. Where folk desperately avoid eye contact

Such a culture shock compared to Aberdeen where everyone wants to know your business.

For the record I love London and it's great I'm down a minimum of twice a month now but the nightlife a bit limited where I stay over.

Have anyone noticed the difference between the city forums? Like scotland and ireland have a community going on, with a good morning thread plus discussions on diferent subject, is it cos here in london everyone is working too much? lol.

Reading

It's because people never actually try to chat in this forum. Every post is either about a meet or the porn cinema lol

So where does a regular visitor begin their adventures?

The public face of London has become very gentrified. Fine for the first couple of visits but I'm needing more of the other side of life.

It's kinda redundant. Which is a shame.

Unless you're into the porn cinema.

Reading it seems mainly blokes going there. Still who knows. I like to check out new experiences.

I think a lot of peeps use the SE room. Also the SE room has organised two well attended afternoon socials so far this year (January and March), and a number of people from London attended.

East London's probably the most gentrified area. It's impossible to go anywhere near Hackney without seeing some bearded bloke sipping a latte...

Walton on Thames

So frustrating that we have a geographically relevant forum and its not used fully.

It should be a great place to get messages between interested parties going

Perhaps we need a social?

I live in Dalston (have done for ten years). You're no longer allowed into the area without a beard, banjo and (cask ale) beer
