I'm thinking of getting out there and meeting people but would prefer to do this in a pub/bar one evening.

Is there any interest or demand for this or do people just prefer to meet at the clubs?

Has to be South London for us - although if Likety is going, we may be able to make it - since we have had such good chats already - driving across or around London is a bit of a mare though

Cool well as long as there is a bit of interest and I am more than happy to organise. I was thinking after work one Thursday evening (24th?) say 7pm start - somewhere central like a pub in Angel.

I realise this will not suit everyone but I will try to be accommodating as possible. Does that sound ok?

Weekday evenings don't work for us as I often have late evenings at work - until at least 8pm. But don't change it on our account as its a long way for us, so unlikely we would make it anyway

Relatively speaking. Approximately 1/2 hour on the tube. Oxford Circus central line change at bank.

Cool well I shall come back with a confirmed venue etc. in the next couple of days or on the weekend.

OP, don't post the venue on the thread. The forum can be read by non members.

Angel has lots of great venues for a drink but it's best not to narrow it down in public.

I'll be in the suggested area next Wednesday and could socialise with people after 8.30pm for an hour or so. It does mean missing Bake Off though.
