Rio's in the afternoon

Can anyone comment on how Rio's in Kentish Town is in the afternoon, want a naturist sauna to relax in and be able to chat with like minded people without pressure or intimidation. Read reviews which are mixed and doesn't appear to indicate that relaxed conversation with like minded strangers takes place?.....anyone use it regularly and make friendships? Please comment, thanks.

We live down and the road and go to rios occasionally. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon and the facilaties are good. People tend to keep to themselves and will just relax in the spa without talking. A lot of men attend trying to attract females and you will see them following women/couples around particularly around the relaxation rooms. It quieter in the afternoons so you can just soak in the spas and relax. Pretty good value for £20

Thanks Sara very helpful to get some feedback. I grew up in Holloway till I was 19, love how Holloway seems to have developed with cafes and lovely sandwich places particular that stretch of road opposite the big Holloway estate towards Holloway Road Tube.....was always a rather run down area of Holloway. I am due some leu days at work so will pop over for a relaxed afternoon. I work in Camden and Kentish Town so have to be a little careful arriving and leaving lol....not wanting to explain to colleagues why I choose this particular place

We been there any times for the past 8 years. Mainly evenings but occasionally an afternoon, during the day is definitely more relaxing. We have made loads of friends in there with who we seat, have a chat and a some or two. Despite the mixed reviews overall we think it's a great place and never had any issues with this silly single guys walking around offering massages. But than again my partner knows how to put them in their places straightaway. It's a fun nevertheless.

I been there many times as single and came back home with a smile on my face

But if you don't know anyone can be a bit too much. It's like fresh meat for this single guys. Go with a girl friend. I know people there already so they take care of me.
