I have just seen that there is a new club in london called "Le Boudoir" opening valentines weekend does anybody know the location or any details about this club?

The website looks very nice.

i'm considering possibly going there on valentines night check it out.

Couples membership is £50 plus £50 to get in, so if we only went once that would make it a rather expensive coule of hours plus the rigmarole of registering address, full name, mobile number, face pics etc at least 48 hours before you want to attend. Although as a SBF its only a tenner for membership and the same for entry so if you don't use the place that often its not too bad. Its in Aldgate, so easy transport links, and load of hotels if you're not local.

SBF - Single Bi Fem!

LeBoudoir is the name of the club, they have a website, All the information I have is a couple of minutes from Aldgate East tube.

A friend and I were thinking of going but the website states no public displays of anything naughty and we're quite demonstrative with each other. It seems too much to pay for something that might be too restrained for our enjoyment. Although it's easy to get to for both of us.

I might consider going on my own after the opening.

they are setting out their aspirations for the club and there is a call even a niche for this and it acts as a filter if one feels one is not sophisticated and attractive enough to go its only an issue if they actually turn people away they have accepted online sorry about the awfulness of my post but i am not allowed capitals or punctuation today

I will be waiting with interest for reviews.

I haven't seen any marketing at all or launch offers so I do expect it to be a quiet launch as I expect it does take clubs time to get their name out and a client base. I'm likely to wait for reviews before attending as I feel it may be too quiet for me for the first few months.

Please share any experiences.....

My concern was glitterati, meaning wealthy or famous people who conspicuously or ostentatiously attend fashionable events. Conspicuous and ostentatious are not words I would associate with swinging, more people tend to use the word discreet?

But as the place is only a 15 minute tube ride away, I shall wait with bated breath to see if the paparazzi get wind of the glitterati getting their rocks off in Aldgate! LOL

We're doing it as an experiment. It's located in prime property area so I'm sure that is part of the reason for the price.

I'm sure the glitterati will have designer carry bags when they arrive, we were interested but can't get our head around the high cost with no licensed bar, we don't care what area or postcode it's in, that's of little importance as its above the clientele and ambience, I'm assuming at £100 we would get valet parking?

At least it's not in Hackney where meters still charge up to 11pm.

Just not getting the upmarket vibe, with no parking, no licensed bar, never been to a club in Hackney btw, So is there parking nearby? Or is it a case of trying to ride on the back of the elitism of the C4 documentary?

There is a deal for free membership on another thread. £50 entry is if you pay beforehand, £60 on the door. Mr has signed us up for Saturday (tempted by the free membership deal no doubt) Apparently Aldgate is 'up and coming'?

Whenever you get coffee shops and cocktail bars it's up and coming. The new developments and location to lots of other things make is a trendy hot spot.

Toilet? Hmmm... Those pesky City traders can be a bit obnoxious but the area is not a toilet. As to Muslim patrols I've never seen one outside of times when they know a right wing/racist march is being planned and then they have always been peacekeeping and working with the police.
